WRITER sells an enterprise agent platform: a general WRITER Agent, more than 100 prebuilt agents, Playbooks for multi-step workflows and a Knowledge Graph over company content1.

Best for: Enterprises that want governed AI agents for content-heavy and knowledge work, with approvals, roles and audit logs built in.

Not the right fit for: Companies that want AI to run operational records such as orders, invoices and phone calls.

What the platform includes

The Starter plan covers up to five users with WRITER Agent, up to five Playbooks and basic connectors, with a 14-day free trial. The Enterprise plan covers unlimited users and free collaborators, unrestricted Playbooks and cross-team workflows, advanced orchestration, approvals and admin controls, full Knowledge Graph capabilities with unrestricted connectors, and AI programme management1.

Governance and security

The pricing page lists agent observability and audit logs, knowledge and connector access controls, role-based access with customisable roles and permissions, multi-factor authentication, SAML SSO and SCIM provisioning, and team and organisation-level policies. It states AES-256 and TLS encryption, a GDPR and CCPA data processing agreement, a HIPAA business associate agreement and a SOC 2 Type II report on request, and describes a zero data retention approach in which models are not trained on customer data by default1. The page does not map every governance feature to a specific plan.

Published evidence

We did not review WRITER's customer case studies for this guide; the pricing page carries feature and compliance information only.

Strengths and limits

Strengths

  • One of the most complete published governance feature lists in this guide: approvals, custom roles and permissions, audit logs, SSO and SCIM.
  • Zero data retention, with models not trained on customer data by default.
  • A 14-day free trial of the Starter plan.

Limits

  • Enterprise prices are not published, and the pricing table does not map every governance feature to a plan.
  • Built around knowledge and content work rather than operational records.
  • Card payment only on the pricing page’s terms; refunds are at WRITER’s discretion.

Choose another option if: The work you want governed is operational (sales follow-up, purchasing, billing, calls) rather than documents and knowledge.

Pricing

Starter is a per-seat plan with fixed credit limits; Enterprise is quoted by sales. No figures are shown on the pricing page.

Questions for WRITER

  • Which governance features (approvals, audit logs, custom roles) are included in which plan?
  • Can agents act on operational systems such as our CRM or ERP, and under which permissions?
  • What does the Enterprise plan cost for our number of regular seats?
